We’re excited to once again highlight the extraordinary achievements of our Headfirst alumni in the second installment of our Headfirst Alumni Spotlight.
This time, we highlight two-time Honor Roll Camper Cassie Henning. Like you, she’s a high school student-athlete who dreamed of not only continuing her softball career, but doing so at a top academic school – a dream she’ll make a concrete reality at Georgetown in the fall.
CASSIE HENNING – Georgetown Hoyas
School: Georgetown, Class of 2022
Position: RHP/3B
Honor Roll Camp Attended: Mid-Atlantic, 2015 & D.C., 2016

As a junior, Henning ended the year with a .462 batting average while also setting the school record for doubles (16). In the circle, she tied another school record with 159 strikeouts and ended the year with a record of 18-5. She is currently making a strong bid for her 3rd straight Region Pitcher of the Year Award.
